Female Sex Organ Wins Costume Prize; Suspension
(ANN ARBOR, MICHIGAN - November 2, 2001) A brilliant teenager has been suspended
from school for his extremely graphic Halloween costume. He put on a big pink
cape, folded and designed into a six-foot tall "anatomically correct"
vagina. For added detail, he glued bushy black wigs to the satin and lace edges.
It was his mother's idea to dress up as a woman's private part. Her name's Rosalyn
Tulip (yes, that's her real name). She designed the costume and wore it to a
party last year. It was so good that the school voted it the best costume of
the year. But 17-year-old Christian Silberias was still suspended until next
Monday. That bums him out on two counts: He says (quote) "If I won, that
means most of the school was down with it." And he's already been suspended
after getting caught smoking pot on a school trip. Any more missed day and he
won't make the honor's list.
