Scientists say they've discovered a new smell, "olfactory white," which is composed of 40 different compounds.

 A total of 40 smelly compounds make up "olfactory white".

But exactly what does the new scent smell like?

It’s so bland that it’s indescribable, the researchers explained.

“The best way to appreciate the qualities of olfactory white is to smell it," they added.
