It all started a couple of weeks ago.  I was on the way to work.  It was about 4:30 in the morning and it was raining...hard!

Somewhere in the middle of all that I-240 construction, I realized that I couldn't see much of anything.  It was dark, rainy, and I couldn't even see the white lines that separate the lanes.  I just had to slow down and follow another car's tail lights and hope for the best.

It was then that I realized that my wiper blades just weren't getting the job done.  See, last time I replaced my wiper blades, I hoped to save some money by getting some really cheap wiper blades...and apparently that's exactly what I got...some really cheap wiper blades.  Within 2 months of changing them, they were already showing signs of cracking...and they were skipping across my windshield, leaving streaks behind and making it almost impossible to see.

A few days later at work, I was approached with the opportunity to endorse Rain-X wiper blades...and I jumped at the chance.  I have been a fan of the original Rain-X product for years...and I figured that wiper blades good enough to carry the Rain-X name must be pretty awesome.

I was right.  Last weekend, I replaced my wiper blades with Rain-X Latitude blades...and I was immediately impressed.  During all that rain last weekend, I put them to the test.  The difference was like night and day.  They practically made driving in the rain an enjoyable experience.

The unique design of the Latitude blades makes them perform better than standard blades.  They're designed with a one piece curved fit to contour to your windshield, applying even pressure over the full length of the wiper blade.  That means a cleaner wipe and virtually no streaking.  And since there's no separate frame and metal parts, ICE won't build up on them like conventional wiper blades. (I discovered this during our mini "ice storm" this week.)

Installing them was easy.  It only took a couple of minutes and they snapped right into place.

So you'll hear me talking on the show about Rain-X premium wiper blades.  Is it a paid endorsement? Yes, it is.  Do I really believe in them?  Yes, absolutely.  I'm sure they will eventually need to be replaced, and when that happens, I've already decided to get another set of Latitude Wiper Blades.  They're awesome.  You can't beat that confident feeling of driving with better visibility.

Driving in Memphis is scary enough already!
